On the first day of the climb, you will traverse the glacier, spend the night in a tent at Island Peak Base Camp, and prepare for the next day's ascent. The climb from base camp to high camp involves hiking, with some moderate scrambling over rocky steps near high camp. Beyond the high camp, glacier travel begins, leading to a steep snow and ice slope. Guides may set up fixed ropes for the challenging ascent to the summit ridge, which offers stunning views despite the difficult climb.
