On the third day of our pilgrimage tour in Nepal, we planned to take you beyond the Kathmandu Valley to explore the beauty of Pokhara and immerse yourself in its rich natural and cultural offerings. The day will start with breakfast at the hotel in Kathmandu before we embark on a scenic and adventurous 6 to 7-hour drive. During this journey, you will encounter magnificent mountain views, local villages, rivers, marketplaces, vegetable farms, and much more. Although the distance between Kathmandu and Pokhara is only 200 km, the trip can take longer due to traffic and the condition of the roads. Upon arriving in Pokhara, you'll be greeted by stunning landscapes, including mountains, lakes, lush jungles, and wide roads. After checking in at the hotel, you'll have some free time to visit Phewa Lake. Here, you can enjoy the Aarati ceremony and visit the Tal Barahi Temple, which is situated on a small island within the lake. You will stay overnight at the hotel after supper, ready to continue your pilgrimage experience.
