Company History
The company was founded in 2014 A.D. During this time of the year, the trekking and tour industry of Nepal was operating in a traditional pattern. Travelers were in search of professional travel agency that can provide them all kinds of services during trip operation. People were searching for a reliable agency that can take care of their trip hassles so that they can fully enjoy their trip. In fact, tourism industry was in stagnant status. Therefore, the Himalayan Trekking Path was opened with view to provide authentic holiday packages to travelers across the globe by providing them impeccable hospitality and quality services. Mr. Ram Hari Neupane is the founder of the agency. He had worked for more than five years in the various trekking and tour agencies of Nepal. While working for these companies he completed his academic degrees! Therefore, to bridge a gap between modern demands of travel industry and to preserve the authentic local traditional values, he established the agency.
After the devastating 2015 earthquake that tolled thousands of lives and destroyed millions of properties in Nepal the Nepalese Tourism was in despair. In this crucial time, the Himalayan Trekking Path emerged as one of the first group of travel agencies of Nepal to rejuvenate the tourism activities in Nepal. Ever since, the company has been working relentlessly to help people from across the globe to knit a beautiful holiday moment in Nepal.

All our trip leaders and crew members are trained about conservation of flora and fauna along with the preservation of cultural heritages. The agency always conducts two training sessions one in each before the start of holiday season in Nepal to ensure that our crew members are well versed in operating the trips without harming the natural and cultural environment of the host place.

Corporate Social Responsibility
At the end of the first year of the agency’s establishment, Nepal was struck by devastating earthquake. Before the company started to profit from the trip operations, the agency was already working for the betterment of the lives of people of the host destinations. We have worked immensely in providing much needed mental support and logistic support to those who lost their relatives and properties in 2015 earthquake. In times like COVID Pandemic, the agency worked hard to help the families of guides, porters, and people of various remote touristic destinations of Nepal.
The agency donates 5% of its gross profit for the betterment of educational status and health conditions of low skilled staffs working in the tourism industry of Nepal. Therefore, we have a foundation directly funded by the agency that works in the favor of porters and guides looking after their education and health.
