The Kailash Mansarovar Tour in Tibet, an autonomous region of China, offers a remarkable experience of religious, cultural, and natural exploration. This journey takes you to the foothills of Mt. Kailash, where you can witness the beauty of secret holy lakes, breathtaking mountain views, and a stunning landscape that is often referred to as the "roof of the world." Tibet is renowned as a center of natural power and serves as a cultural and religious hub for people around the globe. Mt. Kailash and Mansarovar Lake hold immense significance for four major religions - Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism, and Bon Religion. Standing tall at an elevation of 6,638 m (21,778 ft), Mount Kailash is considered the divine dwelling place of Lord Shiva and Parvati. Situated near the Manasarovar and Rakshastal lakes, this pyramid-shaped mountain is located north of the western trijunction of the China-India-Nepal border. Additionally, this region is known as the origin of four major rivers: the Indus, Sutlej, Brahmaputra, and Karnali. According to Hindu beliefs, Mount Kailash is the sacred abode of Lord Shiva, where he remains in eternal meditation alongside his wife, Parvati, the daughter of the Himalayas. This holy mountain, known as Kailash Parvat, is considered the ultimate destination for the soul and is regarded as the spiritual center of the world. Lake Mansarovar, situated near Mount Kailash, is revered as a reservoir of purity and holds great significance as a pilgrimage site, attracting Hindus from all corners of the globe who embark on the Kailash Yatra. The act of immersing oneself in the waters of Mansarovar and drinking from its pristine source during this pilgrimage is believed to cleanse devotees of sins accumulated over numerous lifetimes. Those fortunate enough to undertake this sacred journey to Lake Mansarovar and Kailash Parvat carry back cherished memories that serve as a constant reminder of Lord Shiva's presence in their lives, instilling a deep sense of peace and tranquility. Let's Join the Himalayan Trekking Path for your outstanding trip to Kailash Parikarma and Manasarovar Lake Tour.

The comfortable vehicle, specifically tailored to accommodate the group size, takes us through various landmarks in Kathmandu, Nuwakot, and Rasuwa districts, offering stunning views of the Trishuli River valley, majestic mountains, charming villages, terraced fields, and more. Once we reach Timure, a 30-minute walk is required to reach the friendship bridge that connects Nepal and China. After crossing the bridge, we proceed to the Chinese immigration checkpoint, where biometric procedures and necessary formalities are completed. This marks our official entry into Tibet, China. At this point, our team will introduce you to our professional Tibet guide, driver, and vehicle, and together we will embark on our journey toward Kerung. During our stay in Kerung, we will have a day of leisure to acclimatize to the high altitude. This provides a perfect opportunity to explore the wonders of Kerung town, including its enchanting monastery and the captivating landmarks that surround it. It is worth mentioning that Kerung is conveniently located just 175km away from Kathmandu. After departing from Kerung, our next destination will be Saga. Along the way, we will be able to witness the awe-inspiring beauty of the Himalayas, charming lakes, picturesque landscapes, elegant Yaks, a magnificent waterfall, the Brahmaputra River, and other breathtaking scenery. Along the journey, we will be treated to stunning views of the Tibetan plateau. Upon reaching Hurchu town, we will catch our first glimpse of Mt. Kailash. We will then embark on a bus ride to circumambulate the sacred Manasarovar Lake, which will take approximately one hour. Interestingly, Mt. En route, we will have the opportunity to marvel at Rakshas Tal, the highest salted lake in the world, which bears a striking resemblance to the shape of the moon. Darchen, often referred to as the Courtyard of Mt. Kailash, provides a vantage point for a close-up view of the magnificent Kailash mountain. From Darchen, we will commence the three-day Parikarma (Kora) and conquer the formidable Dolma La Pass, situated at an altitude of 5630m. High elevations present difficulties such as decreased oxygen levels, resulting in symptoms like headaches, queasiness, fatigue, and shortness of breath. These symptoms affect individuals of all ages and fitness levels. Adjusting to the altitude is essential; refrain from using tranquilizers and antibiotics. Decrease the pace of activities, take frequent breaks, and minimize conversation. Walk at a leisurely pace, carry lighter loads, and maintain a peaceful demeanor. Stay hydrated, avoid sudden strenuous activity, and guard against the cold. Refrain from bathing in streams, protect yourself from dust and sun exposure, and follow the guidance of experienced leaders. Prioritize rest, hydration, and warm attire during the winter season.
