Embark on a journey to Sundarijal, which is located a 45-minute drive away from Kathmandu. Sundarijal, meaning "Beautiful Waterfall" in English, serves as the main source of drinking water for Kathmandu. Once we arrive at Sundarijal, we will enter the Shivapuri Nagarkot National Park and make our way to Chisapani. Chisapani, translated as "cold water," offers breathtaking views of dense forests, snow-covered peaks, and the panoramic beauty of the Kathmandu Valley. Along the way, we will pass by streams, farmland, and local villages, immersing ourselves in the magnificence of the surroundings. Our continuous trek will lead us to Chisapani Village, which is predominantly inhabited by the Tamang community. This trek will take us through the charming village of Mulkharka, adding to the overall excellence of our journey.

The town also provides breathtaking views of the snow-capped Himalayan mountains, including the Annapurna Range, Manaslu Ranges, Ganesha Himla, Langtang, and Jugal. After a 4-5 hour hike through Shivapuri National Park, we will arrive at Chisapani Village. Chisapani is a picturesque village located within Shivapuri National Park, offering stunning views of the lush green hills and majestic Himalayan peaks, including Mt. Everest. The next day, we will continue our journey towards Nagarkot, which takes approximately 6-7 hours along the National Park. Nagarkot is one of the best vantage points in the Kathmandu valley to witness the beauty of the Himalayan ranges during sunrise and sunset, as well as the panoramic view of the Kathmandu Valley. On the third day of the trek, we will hike for 5–6 hours to reach Changunarayan Temple, the oldest temple square in the Kathmandu Valley, from Nagarkot. Finally, we will drive back to Kathmandu through the historic Newari town of Bhaktapur.

The exquisite Chisapani Nagarkot short treks commence with a 45-minute drive to Sundarijal, a picturesque starting point known for its captivating waterfall. This renowned stream tirelessly supplies drinking water to the Kathmandu Valley on a daily basis. Our guided journey begins with an uphill trek to Mulkharka village, a charming Tamang village that offers awe-inspiring views of the Kathmandu Valley and Shivapuri National Park. From there, we continue our expedition towards Chisapani Village, where we spend our first night. The trail takes us through the breathtaking Shivapuri Nagarjun National Park, and upon reaching Chisapani Village, we are greeted by the majestic sight of snow-capped mountains in close proximity. We will be accommodated overnight at a comfortable guest house.

Wake up to the stunning view of snowcapped peaks during sunrise, creating an unmarked Himalayan appearance. Enjoy a hearty breakfast at the guest house before packing your bag and setting off for Nagarkot. Begin your trek through the picturesque jungle, filled with a variety of flora and fauna, for 2–3 hours. The trail will then lead you downhill to Jhule and Chauki Bhanjang. Stop for a lunch break at Chauki Bhanjang before continuing your trek through local villages, countryside, and terraced fields until you reach Kattike Bhanjyang. Trek uphill from Bhanjyang to Nagarkot, where you will spend your second night.

Then, head to Bhaktapur, a medieval city, to explore another UNESCO World Heritage Site. Finally, return to Kathmandu by private vehicle.
